Greece Refugee Youth Project

13935102_10157263911060481_6298565842473231886_nLed a month long project for CalAid in the Filippiada refugee camp in Greece establishing school provision for the Afghan and Syrian children living there.

Working with UNHCR and Project Hope 4 Kids the team of four teachers I led successfully set up classes in English, Maths, Arabic and Persian and worked to ensure that the programme of classes were sustainable.

Calais Bicycle Aid

IMG_1858Access to a working bicycle has a big impact on day to day life for refugees in Calais.

Started in the summer of 2015 this project has made three trips to the refugee camps in France, built a bike workshop in the aid distribution centre and supplied tens of bicycles.

Sourdough Donut Project

image1bDonut underestimate the versatility of donuts to teach folk about food and fermentation.

We’re going to use them as a tool to teach folk about wild yeast, preparing dough, flavours, frying, baking and being creative with food. Follow the project Instagram account HERE for more photos and updates.

Fermentation Lab

Fermented foods like sourdough bread, tempeh and kimchi are transformative foods in both their making and their effect your health. Fermentation Lab will work on education and edible projects like radical tempeh.

Cycling Events

Started designing and delivering cycling events in Oxford in July 2006.

Currently working on a Super Series of bicycle Alleycat events for Spring 2017. Find out more here!

Created new cycling event formats like Scabble on Bicycles…

Walking Events

In 2014 after a move to Norwich, started delivering walking events for the Department of Health’s Walking Cities programme of work.
